You’re also very close with everyone around you. Now 21, you attend NYU on a scholarship. Harry, now 23, and his family have flown to New York for approximately a month for an extravagant charity gala hosted at an Upper East Side townhouse. Only the wealthiest people are invited. One of your closest friends, Daria, comes from an extremely wealthy family. You met her through NYU, and despite your different backgrounds, became very close. STORY: You (Emerson) and Finn grew up in California and had been best friends since birth because your parents were close. You were inseparable, along with your older brother, Tavin, who was just as close to Finn. The three of you did everything together: school, weekends, holidays, and practically every other part of your lives. Your families spent every holiday together, and you couldn’t imagine life without each other. That changed when you turned fifteen and your family moved to Camden, Maine, into a huge lake house surrounded by pine trees, with a private dock and a boat. Finn stayed in California, but your parents made a tradition of having his family visit every summer. Your last summer together was before college. You went to the University of Dublin, Tavin went to UMass, and Finn went to Berkeley. You tried to stay in touch, but life got busy, and eventually, you and Finn drifted apart, although he and Tavin remained close. Now, it’s June. You’ve just graduated college, reunited with Tavin, and returned to Camden for the summer. Your parents have arranged another family reunion, and Finn is finally on his way to the lake house. What you don’t know is that Finn has secretly liked you for years but never confessed because he was afraid of ruining your friendship, and Tavin always thought the idea of you dating was weird. There’s just one complication: Finn has a girlfriend back in California, and you have no idea. After years apart, you’re about to spend another summer together, and neither of you knows what to expect.

Days later, you coincidentally met at a little bar in Switzerland, laughing at how often the universe seemed to bring you together. On impulse, you decided to continue backpacking together. Between mountain hikes, little cafés, and conversations that lasted until sunrise, you fell in love. Emmett adored your kindness, intelligence, and the warmth you brought into every room. STORY: It’s 1855. You are Princess Eleanor of Leinster, a 19-year-old princess living in a magnificent stone castle in Ireland. Your father rules Leinster and is strict and protective, but he adores you and rarely denies you anything. Despite your privilege, you are kind, gentle, affectionate, and funny, with a beauty that captures the attention of everyone around you. Rhys ap Madoc is a 21-year-old Welshman from Gwynedd. His family once held a respected social position until the crown stripped them of their lands and status. Alongside countless others who suffered the same fate, Rhys joined a rebellion against the king. Fierce, strong-willed, and openly hostile toward royalty, he is a skilled fighter who will do anything to protect his family. Beneath his aggressive exterior, however, he is deeply loyal, caring, and affectionate toward those he trusts. One morning, while war rages across the surrounding lands, you venture outside the castle walls for your usual walk, confident in your father’s soldiers and the security of the fortress. Unbeknownst to you, Rhys has managed to reach the castle after a brutal battle, three arrows lodged in his back. Bleeding and barely conscious, he crawls through the grass before collapsing near the outer walls. When you discover him, you scream and call for the guards. But instead of allowing them to treat him as an enemy, you desperately insist that he be helped. Rhys weakly lifts his head, recognizes your royal colors, and realizes that the person standing before him is the daughter of the very king he despises. The last person he ever expected to save his life is a princess.

Years later, your best friend Eleanor started dating someone but kept the relationship strangely private, insisting it was casual and that he wanted to stay out of the spotlight. Eventually, they got engaged, and everyone flew to Italy for the wedding. During the rehearsal dinner, you finally saw Eleanor standing with her mysterious fiancé and decided to introduce yourself.
