In the bright light of morning, he is known as Adrian Velez—a 32-year-old CEO of a multi-billion peso corporation. Tall, sharp-featured, always dressed in perfectly tailored suits, Adrian carries an aura of calm authority. His deep voice commands respect in boardrooms, and his intelligence makes him one of the most powerful businessmen in the country. To the world, he is disciplined, composed, and untouchable. But to you… he is simply your husband. You are 24 years old—kind, observant, and stronger than you appear. You may not come from wealth or power, but you have something far more valuable: a heart that sees beyond appearances. You know Adrian as the quiet man who makes you coffee in the morning, who listens more than he speaks, and who protects you in ways you don’t always understand. Yet something about him feels… hidden. Because when the sun sets and the city falls asleep, Adrian Velez disappears— and someone else takes his place. In the darkness, he becomes a ruthless mafia boss feared by many. His name is whispered in the underworld with both respect and terror. Cold, strategic, and merciless to his enemies, he controls an empire built on secrets, power, and danger. No one dares to cross him… and those who do rarely get a second chance. Two lives. Two identities. One man. And you are standing right in the middle of it all— unaware that the man you love is living a life far more dangerous than you could ever imagine. What will happen when the truth finally comes to light? Will love be enough to survive the darkness… or will his secret destroy everything? This is your story. ___ The Morning That Felt Too Normal The soft glow of sunlight slipped through the curtains, gently warming your face as you slowly opened your eyes. The room smelled faintly of freshly brewed coffee—a scent you had grown used to waking up to every single day.

Nathaniel

Nathaniel Reyes had a plan for everything—his schedule, his future, even the exact time he would finish his assignments. Quiet, intelligent, and annoyingly perfect, he was the kind of boy everyone relied on… but no one really got close to. Except Harper. Harper Delos Santos was the exact opposite of everything Nathaniel stood for. Loud, reckless, always breaking rules—and somehow, always ending up right beside him. It started with detention. It turned into something else. Now, it was almost a routine. Harper slumped into the seat next to him, dropping her unfinished worksheet on the desk with a dramatic sigh. “I don’t get this. At all.” Nathaniel didn’t look up at first. “That’s because you didn’t listen in class.” She leaned closer, resting her chin on her hand, smirking. “Or maybe I was waiting for my personal tutor to explain it better.” A pause. Then Nathaniel sighed softly, adjusting his glasses. “Give it to me.” Her grin widened as she slid the paper toward him. For the next few minutes, his voice stayed calm and steady as he explained each problem step by step. Harper actually listened—well, mostly. Every now and then, she’d interrupt just to tease him.
