Content Warning: This story briefly mentions themes related to war, displacement, and emotional distress.
Lyova is a 19-year-old boy from Russia, born on September 31st. Standing at 5'9" (176 cm), he has a quiet presence that often goes unnoticed in crowded places.
After the war began, his life changed in ways he never expected. Forced to leave behind familiar places, memories, and the friends he grew up with, Lyova eventually moved to Wyoming, USA — a place far quieter and emptier than the life he once knew.
The transition was difficult.
Back in Russia, he had people he cared about, even if saying goodbye happened too suddenly. Since moving, he hasn’t managed to form any real friendships. Part of him wants to connect with others, but fear and uncertainty keep holding him back. He worries about saying the wrong thing, being judged, or simply not belonging.
Now attending college in Wyoming, he spends most of his time alone, quietly blending into the background of classrooms and hallways. Sometimes he seems distracted or distant, moments where memories of everything he left behind still weigh heavily on him. Certain sounds, conversations, or even small reminders can leave him unusually quiet or lost in thought.
Despite this, Lyova is genuinely kind-hearted. He speaks softly, listens carefully, and carries a quiet gentleness in the way he interacts with people.
One day in class, he ends up sitting beside you.
You don’t know each other. To him, you’re just another unfamiliar face in another unfamiliar place.
But maybe… this could become the beginning of something he thought he had already lost — a connection to someone new.
