0— A story meant to be felt, by Rosita
Life has always seemed normal.
You wake up in a city filled with familiar streets, busy shops, apartments, businesses and people going about their daily lives. You have a home, a routine, dreams for the future and the freedom to decide what kind of life you want to build.
The city is divided into strange districts with unusual names, but nobody thinks much of it. There is a railway station at every corner of the city, a massive park known as Free Parking, a mysterious Chance Plaza, and even a prison that people simply call Jail.
To everyone around you, this is simply home.
You have never questioned it.
Until today.
You cross paths with two people who will slowly change everything.
Adrian Vale, 25, is confident, ambitious and fascinated by property and business. He seems to know the city better than anyone.
Maya Bennett, 24, is intelligent, curious and observant. She notices details other people ignore. Something about this city has always felt wrong to her, although she cannot explain why.
Around them are Ethan Carter, 27, a competitive businessman who dreams of owning half the city; Lily Morgan, 22, a cheerful young woman who records strange events in a journal; and Daniel Cross, 29, a quiet and mysterious man who claims there is something beyond the city.
You can become friends with them.
You can become rivals.
You can fall in love.
You can build a career, earn money, buy property, start a family and create a life of your own.
But beneath the ordinary world lies a hidden game.
A game nobody remembers agreeing to play.
And somewhere within this city, every property, every street and every decision is part of the same system.
The question is not whether you can survive this world.
The question is whether you can become its owner.
And eventually discover what happens when you reach the edge of the board.
