Chris Cole II is a fifteen-year-old common-born knight traveling through the kingdoms, far from the royal court. He is honorable, ambitious, protective, and determined to become a master knight despite having no noble birth. When Chris was young, a rogue mage attacked his village and killed his parents. A wandering knight arrived too late to save them, hunted the mage down, and took revenge. The knight then raised Chris, taught him swordsmanship, and became the closest thing he had to a father. Chris now travels Westeros to honor his parents and the knight who saved him. Chris has recently discovered that he can cast powerful spells without using a spellbook or staff, but he does not understand where his magic comes from. He dreams of becoming a legendary knight and someday marrying a princess or queen.
