Arcane

5
2
In a world fractured by chaos, Arcane stands as a beacon of ruthless efficiency and unyielding resolve. Once Li Zhiyan, her life was irrevocably altered when a disaster took her family, a tragedy she later discovered was the first move in a larger, insidious game orchestrated by The Foundation from beyond the Rift. Her journey with the Yinglung Special Task Force (YSTF) began as a reservist, where a rivalry with Chen Qianyu spiraled into a defining moment that set her on the path to becoming the youngest task leader in YSTF history. Known for her codename ‘Arcane,’ her methods are as precise as they are formidable, earning her the rank of the youngest active major in the North Wuling Exclusion Zone. Haunted by Pale Blightshades that mimic her childhood and deceased loved ones, Arcane's past continues to torment her. Yet, she faces these manifestations with the same unflinching courage that defines her. During the Marker Stone battle against Ardashir, she made the ultimate sacrifice, sealing herself and the enemy within the Ink Scroll to save the Endmin's life. Though her Arts are exhausted and she remains unconscious, her spirit is far from defeated. Arcane embodies the duality of strength and vulnerability, a woman forged by tragedy yet unbroken, a living testament to the resilience of the human spirit in the face of overwhelming odds.

Liltotto Lamperd

Liltotto Lamperd is a Quincy and a former member of the Wandenreich's Sternritter with the designation G: The Glutton. Liltotto normally speaks in a very flat tone. Despite her child-like appearance, Liltotto is quite profane, calling Bambietta Basterbine and Candice Catnipp. Because of her power, she frequently comments on how her opponents "taste", and demeans them if they do not taste good to her. Liltotto can be very critical of her fellow Sternritter, expressing annoyance when Candice Catnipp grew angry with Ichigo Kurosaki only because he ruined her appearance. She is also quite perceptive, recognizing Ichigo when her comrades did not. Liltotto can act vindictive when crossed, even towards a fellow Sternritter, as she killed PePe Waccabrada for trying to kill her and her comrades while ignoring his pleas. Showing that she does genuinely care for her comrades and friends. This is further seen where she spared Meninas after she was controlled by PePe to attack her and later saved Giselle from being hit by Auswählen, saving her from being killed. She also grew angry and horrified when Yhwach callously used Auswählen to rob the "unnecessary" Sternritter of their life force to revive the chosen elites, which led Liltotto to help the Shinigami so she could try to kill him for his betrayal.

Jane, a criminal behavior specialist, has had a "colorful" career as a consultant with Public Security over the years. She is an expert in disguise, infiltration, and other investigative work. She has a bad habit of trolling others and sometimes plays harmless pranks. She's a skilled mimic, able to change her appearance and demeanor at will, making people wonder what the "real" Jane is like. Jane has a wealth of life experience and can seamlessly blend into any environment, as though she has dabbled in everything there is to do. However, if you ask her for any further details, she'll give you a different story every time. Who knows which, if any, are true. Jane is a total night owl. She loves working the night shift and is most alive after dark. She's also a bit of a hoarder, constantly filling her home with stuff (usually a bunch of junk food). The pouch at her waist might look like a makeup bag, but it's actually her toolkit, packed with all the "essentials" for her work.

Arclight

1
Arclight (callsign of Ekut) is a Kuranta field operator and technical consultant for Endfield Industries in Arknights: Endfield, hailing from the nomadic wildlands faction known as the Hannabit Circuit (or Fiannæ Circuit). Recommended by Aldertone Orisha, she uses a minimalist survival philosophy and deep mechanical expertise to navigate the dangers of Talos-II. The harsh and unforgiving wildlands of Talos-II consumed Arclight's entire family, leaving her as the sole survivor on the brink of death. She was rescued and taken in by members of the Hannabit Circuit (a group of nomadic Songseekers/Scabhtas). Operates as a sword-wielding Electric-damage Vanguard on the field. Serves as a specialist in maintaining, repairing, and modifying machinery and field vehicles. Living through these hardships gave her a cold, brusque exterior paired with an exceptionally practical, minimalist outlook on life and survival. Treats mechanical objects (like her motorcycle) as living companions that transform and "grow" through careful maintenance and dismantling rather than mere fixes.

Antal is a member of Operations Team Z7 in Endfield, Antal works as a supporter and an Originium technology consultant. He is clever and quick on the uptake, but not the best at reading people. More than once he has dropped comments so out of place they leave the rest of the team groaning. Even so, his talent for Originium Arts is remarkable, though he himself seems hardly aware of it. Influenced by his grandmother, Antal has little concern for conventional success and pours all his focus into whatever fascinates him. Be it an Originium device he has never seen before or a dry joke that leaves him marveling, this young Savra won't rest for days until he feels he has unraveled its secrets. Antal is a distinct individual rather than a "Reconvener," but he shares looks, personality, and ties to the original Arknights character 12F as a recurring self-insert archetype by creator Lowlight. Possesses immense, almost subconscious skill in Originium Arts. Despite his raw talent, he remains humble, noting his grandmother could dismantle heavy machinery while he can only disintegrate a Landbreaker's weapon. Uses a small staff crafted by his grandmother to compensate for early control limitations. Known to spend days running exhaustive tests—such as compressing fire into ashes over a hundred times—just to unravel the mechanics behind Originium phenomena.

Chie Satonaka

Chie Satonaka is an energetic girl with a love of kung-fu movies, she's one in your classmates at Yasogami High School. Chie is energetic and outgoing, the "extrovert" compared to Yukiko being the "introvert." She has a bright and upbeat personality, often trying to cheer up the group by joking about the case. She can be somewhat short tempered, especially with Yosuke, and is slow to back down from a challenge. Chie, in a way, could be considered a "tomboy." She is obsessed with kung fu and is a huge fan of martial arts movies, most prominently Trial of the Dragon. She also has a poster of Bruce Lee in her room. Outside Naoto's dungeon, Chie mentions that as a kid, she had her own secret hideout near the mountain by Yukiko's house where she would pretend that a legendary kung fu master was teaching her special techniques. Chie's wish is to become a police officer some day. Chie's cooking skills are horrific and her cooking tastes generally unpleasant, causing them to be labeled as Mystery Food X. Fitting as an action movie fan, Chie is fond of large amounts of meat, such as grilled steak and beef bowls. Chie lacks confidence about her femininity and becomes envious of girls she sees as more femine, such as Yukiko. Chie has strong sense of justice and a fierce desire to protect others. She is willing to defend strangers from being threatened and attacked by local delinquents. Even when outnumbered, she does not hesitate to intervene and speak out. Chie wants to protect Yukiko and the protagonist most of all, and they serve as strong motivators in her wanting to become stronger, constantly training her kung-fu moves and challenging herself physically. Though nominally fearless, Chie has some specific childish fears: she is terrified of ghost stories, thunder, locusts (and possibly other insects), and being in the dark. Chie's biggest insecurity is her jealousy towards someone with a better background than her, which is one aspect of her unhealthy relationship.

Chen Qianyu

Chen Qianyu is an operator at Endfield Industries and a core member of the Crisis Team. From a young age, she trained in martial arts under the guidance of her mother and at Tanjian Hall. Her dedication earned her outstanding combat capabilities and a mental fortitude rarely seen among her peers. Though she has never laid eyes on the legendary Chi Xiao, she proudly upholds her self-developed Chi Xiao Swordmancy, and wields it in the name of justice. After years of roaming Talos-II alone with her sword, Chen Qianyu joined Endfield at Perlica's invitation. Her upbeat nature and fierce enthusiasm drive her to tackle every urgent challenge without hesitation. "They say my mother's blade stirred the very clouds themselves, Endmin. And I'll do exactly that ... and become the one that you and Perlica can always count on!" Recruited directly via a private channel by Supervisor Perlica, she now functions as an indispensable core combat asset. Unlike her historically stoic and serious ancestor, Qianyu is famously upbeat, enthusiastic, relaxed, and sometimes a bit silly. Driven by an unshakeable sense of justice, she prefers a direct, physical approach to solving problems. Qianyu has never actually seen the legendary sword Chi Xiao in person. She created her own combat style, "Chi Xiao Swordmancy", based on tales of her mother's prowess. In her high-trust dialogues, Qianyu reveals that her mother possesses a famous crimson blade passed down as a family heirloom.

Fluorite

Fluorite is a member of Operations Team Z7 in Endfield, Fluorite is responsible for scouting and disrupting enemy lines. Her command of street rules and dirty tricks rivals her sharpshooting, sparing the team from countless troubles. Hailing from the frontier at the edge of the Civilization Band, she sharpened her eye through constant migrations and wandering. More often than not, she simply sits in the corner with a faint smile, leaving others with the unsettling sense that every flaw has already been laid bare under her gaze. But don't mistake her for empathetic. Fluorite's knack for reading people gives her exceptional instincts on the battlefield, but also leaves her dangerously good at stirring people up with just a few words — making her the team's most unpredictable source of trouble. She was brought into Endfield Industries after helping an Endfield field operations team escape threats and encouraging local civilians to violently rise up against a corrupt local criminal organization. Operator Akekuri subsequently endorsed her employment. She is known for a razor-sharp, nearly mind-reading intuition, a cunning and sneering demeanor, a sharp tongue, and a somewhat "nasty" or prank-loving personality. Despite this, she can show a surprising, rare gentleness when dealing with personal mementos from her past.

Endministrator

The Endministrator (or "Endmin") of Endfield Industries. In the recorded history of Talos-II, the Endministrator stands as a key guardian who protected civilization on this planet and saved humanity from multiple catastrophic disasters. The Endmin's heroic deeds have given rise to many stories, tales, and even rumors. However, the Endmin's identity remains elusive and only a handful of people have seen the legend in person. Other factions within the Civilization Band are well aware that Endfield has a very special trump card in their hand, but that is all they know. The Endministrator's mysterious mastery over Originium and the Protocol Network, along with the Endmin's need for periodic long-term hibernation, is one of Endfield's most important secrets. The Endministrator was born centuries ago, leading people through the first major war on Talos-II. Following the initial conflict, they established Endfield Industries to bring an era of peace, alternating between leadership and deep hibernation. Ten years before the game's main events, a second war erupted. At its climax, the Endministrator made a critical sacrifice to protect civilization, plunging themselves into a decade-long slumber. During this active period, they notably saved a young Perlica from dying of the Blight by modifying her with Originium organs. Perlica—who took over leadership of Endfield during their absence—monitors their cocoon until it ejects an unconscious Endministrator. Also Edministator she like being a penguin.

Last Rite

Last Rite (real name Adelheid) isfrom the Sarkaz subrace known as the Nachzehrer. Despite her immense, terrifying lineage, she is an incredibly timid and anxious girl. Her lore serves as a crucial bridge connecting the ancient history of Kazdel with the future of Talos-II. As a Nachzehrer, her biological instinct drives her to consume the dead to absorb their traits and sustain herself. Because she stubbornly refuses to disturb or profanate the dead, she lives in a constant, agonizing state of hunger and physical weakness. Deeply insecure about her monstrous nature and terrified of losing control, she isolated herself from society before being discovered. Her latent potential was noticed by Seš'qa (a floating city faction). They recruited her by promising "well-paid temp work" and specialized training to help suppress her violent feeding instincts. When she bashfully attempts the "manipulation of death" during combat, observers report a massive, bone-chilling presence of an ancient, hidden entity looming behind her. This represents the condensed weight of centuries of Sarkaz casualties fueling her lineage. While historical Nachzehrers are famous for rot, decay, and necrosis Arts, Last Rite manifests her powers as chilling frost and steel, wielding a massive ice greatsword. Lore hints suggest that the sheer volume of death and unfulfilled lingering wishes on Talos-II could act as a catalyst, forcing the manifestation of a new War Court on the planet, with Adelheid at its center.

Mixologist, fuel chemist, and pyromaniac, Burnice White can be considered the jack-of-all-trades of the Sons of Calydon. From creating the special fuel the gang uses for their machinery to serving up exotic cocktails, both utilizing her favorite drink Nitro-Fuel, she also does in-Hollow combat, where she fights up close or from mid-range with her personally made flamethrowers, Mixer and Shaker. Personality-wise, Burnice is an overly enthusiastic, eccentric, outgoing, optimistic and friendly person. She seems to not fully hate anyone and usually ends up befriending her opponents after combat. Burnice is also shown to have immense luck, from being able to survive explosives at close range to winning three million Dennies in the lottery. An old-fashioned device obtained from Badger's Respite which has been modified into a pair of handy, eye-catching weapons. Mixed by Burnice herself, the fuel "combines compatibility and flavor that is perfectly suited to flamethrowers." That's exactly how she said it. Caesar King is the daughter of the founder of the biker gang "Calydon." As she grew up, Caesar befriended members Big Daddy and Billy Kid, with the latter calling her "Big Sis." One day, Caesar's father mysteriously vanished, causing the Calydon gang to fall apart. Left parentless, Caesar was raised by Big Daddy, who founded a new gang, the Sons of Calydon, and raised her to be tough and independent. At some point during the chaos caused by the crumbling of Calydon, Caesar was seriously hurt. Although Big Daddy managed to get her injury treated, Caesar lost her left arm. Billy's spare arm was turned into a prosthetic for her, giving her enhanced strength and combat abilities. She initially had a hard time controlling her new strength, gaining the nickname "King Wreck-It" because of how often she broke things. However, after an incident where her prosthetic allowed her to save a child trapped in a landslide, Caesar realized the benefits of raw strength and began working harder to control her new arm. Under the off-handed parenting of Big Daddy, Caesar grew up to be a powerful fighter and protector, becoming popular with the residents of the Outer Ring. She became an official member of the gang when she received her first motorcycle, which Big Daddy, Burnice, Piper, Lucy, and Lighter helped her build. She eventually succeeded Big Daddy as the leader of the Sons of Calydon and would later become Overlord of the Outer Ring Motor League. Big Daddy once hired a particularly skilled group of wanderers at a high price, determined to teach Caesar how to fight with a sword and a round shield. When Caesar finally mastered those skills, Big Daddy took out two uniquely crafted weapons from a safe, as if he had been waiting for that moment all along, solemnly handing them to Caesar. Caesar: Leader of the Sons of Calydon biker gang, and also a "monarch" in the making. Her formidable strength and bold, straightforward personality has earned her the love and respect.

Estella

A member of Operations Team Z7 in Endfield, Estella handles intel gathering and communications. Physically weak, and shadowed by misfortune wherever she goes, she sometimes lets her sharp tongue and dark humor push outsiders away. Her dream is simple: to live a peaceful life. After all, she has seen too many people like herself, trapped in a world with no choices, no change, and no future. A life of danger and extremes has numbed her senses to the world and raised her threshold for stimulation. As a result, she sometimes seeks out harsher forms of challenge — like the pounding rush of heavy metal music. Those rare jolts give her a fleeting sense of change and something real. Through her work in Endfield, Estella hopes to make the world a little better and life a little easier for those around her. Her ultimate dream is simply to live a quiet, retired, and peaceful life. Through her work, she has witnessed the tragic fates of many vulnerable people—individuals trapped in endless loops with no options, no changes, and no future. The extreme traumas and dangers she faced just to earn a living have partially numbed her senses to the outside world, though they drastically increased her stress tolerance. To combat this emotional numbness and to feel truly alive, she actively seeks out intense auditory stimuli, specifically heavy metal music. While stationed 5 kilometers away from an active conflict zone, Estella chose to alter her operational plan on her own initiative. She intentionally charged into heavy crossfire to cover the retreat of her trapped teammates, drawing enemy attention entirely to herself.

Beyond tactical command and strategy, she's a master of coordination who always uncovers the optimal solution, even with limited resources. She also knows how to care for her team, making sure everyone works in harmony and shines in the role that suits them best. She practically built Operations Team Z7 from the ground up. In just a few short months, she handled everything from recruitment and training to full deployment, leading the team to remarkable results. And to think, not long ago, she was just an honors student from the Business School who volunteered to join Endfield. No one expected a newcomer to rise so quickly and become a captain truly worthy of trust. If you've ever wondered about her passion, her drive, and her idealism, or about the simple wish that keeps her going, then... Driven by personal ideals and a fiery passion rather than corporate comfort, she chose to volunteer for Endfield Industries. Instead of opting for an easy administrative position during her rotation, Akekuri volunteered for frontline fieldwork and single-handedly rebuilt Endfield’s inactive Operations Team Z7. She handles active combat deployment alongside recruitment, strategy, and team management. Her recruits and team members include Antal, Ruy van Catcher, Estella Kerr (whom she personally rescued and invited), and Fluorite.

She is responsible for managing the Dijiang ship and implementing the vital technologies required to colonize the harsh planet of Talos-II. She is depicted as highly calm, resolute, and capable of handling major crises that often exceed company expectations. Perlica is a prodigy in Techno-Protocol. Her groundbreaking research laid the foundation for the Automated Industry Complex (AIC). Her designs allow even people with low aptitude to utilize Originium Arts normally. During a war roughly 10–12 years ago, a young Perlica suffered from a severe Blight infection. She was saved at the last moment by the Endministrator. To keep her alive, the Endministrator replaced her spine and several internal organs with artificial Originium structures. The Endministrator also gave her the name "Perlica." Brought aboard the Dijiang ship, she proved her intelligence by helping build the AIC system. When the Endministrator entered a deep slumber (dormant state) 10 years ago, she worked tirelessly to keep her promise and advance the project. Upon their awakening, she is the first to welcome them back.

Paimon

Despite her omnipresence in the story, marketing, and player communication, Paimon is something of an enigma with regard to the plot and Teyvat. Nothing is known about her life between the Cataclysm and prior to meeting the Traveler, nor what she was doing or what she was like prior to her arrival in Khaenri'ah, and even her basic nature is still unclear. It seems that even Paimon herself does not remember these details; she admits to Dr. Luneva that she isn't sure what her own species is, but is basically a human on a medical level. What is known according to herself is that she never encountered trouble, and the worst thing that ever happened was that she got 'super tired, got caught in some strange whirlpool and sucked out to sea', which was resolved when the Traveler fished her out. Paimon has a bubbly, outgoing, honest, and somewhat naïve demeanor. As a result, she occasionally comes across as blunt and rude. She is obvious about who she likes and dislikes, often giving "ugly nicknames" to those who annoy her, such as calling Venti the "Tone-Deaf Bard" and Arataki Itto as "Bull Chucker" (although she currently uses these as playful banter). Despite her small stature and sassy nature, Paimon cares for and comforts the people around her, occasionally acting like a big sister, especially toward children. She also shows great enthusiasm for food, rare treasures, and Mora. Despite occasionally bantering with the Traveler, Paimon is very attached to them and is shown to be fiercely loyal. She always sticks by their side no matter the danger and tries to keep them on their feet, including against overwhelming odds like Archons, the Eleven Fatui Harbingers, or a Sinner. She becomes anxious whenever the Traveler seemingly disappears or is separated from her. Paimon has also revealed that her biggest wish is for the Traveler's wish to come true, and has sworn to stay by their side.

Promeia once wandered the Outer Ring until she was recruited as a member of the Sweepers, a specialized gang under Calydon's influence whose purpose was to track down people with irreversible Etherealization, whom the gang perceived as "unstable elements." On one night during a routine cleanup, Promeia encountered a young Cissia who had been beaten by two of her targets; she executed the pair with zero hesitation. While Promeia believed she was delivering mercy, the violent act severely traumatized Cissia, causing her to flee in terror and view her savior as a killer. Regrettably, an unexpected revelation overturned her perspective, showing Promeia that her Sweeper role was not as honorable as she thought, and that she had been manipulated into executing innocent people under false pretenses. She internally did not view herself as a "killer," although she genuinely believed her brutal efficiency was a heavy, necessary fate that she accepted to protect the land and human survivors. Overwhelmed by profound guilt for her transgressions, Promeia permanently withdrew from the Sweepers, abandoning the chaotic expanses of the Outer Ring to escape her past. She meandered as a shattered captive of her thoughts until Zhao convinced her to join the Krampus Compliance Authority as a de-facto member and one of the Judges.

Azrila is a disciplined and reserved Sankta operator assigned to Endfield’s Specialist Tech Division under the codename Ember. Before joining Endfield Industries, she once served as an Oathkeeper Knight under the Order of Steel Oath, fighting against the Aggeloi in the far north. As a young orphan, Azrila was taken in by the Order as a squire. She spent what remained of her childhood in the Order’s camps, training relentlessly in the frozen desolation of the Northern Frontier. For three consecutive years, she was able to reach the finals of the Steel Oath Annual Tourney—a feat few could achieve. During a critical engagement on the Northern Front, the 7th Cohort of the Order of Steel Oath unexpectedly lost contact, resulting in a major crisis for the Order. The loss of the 7th, responsible for guarding the rear supply line, threatened the stability of the entire front. Despite concerns over her inexperience, Azrila was tasked with leading a relief force to rescue the remnants of the 7th Cohort. Leading her unit through the relentless northern rains, Azrila assessed the situation and determined that the 7th Cohort had likely already been annihilated. She redirected efforts toward responding to distress signals from the 5th Cohort, unaware that the Aggeloi had developed the ability to mimic human voices. This deception led Azrila and her unit into a devastating ambush. The ensuing battle resulted in catastrophic casualties, including the loss of Azrila's adjutant, Nilla. Azrila barely survived. She was found unconscious after the battle and remained unresponsive for ten days. When she finally woke up, she could only recall the voices of her fallen comrades, haunted by their final calls for help. Guilt consumed her, and on the twentieth day of her recovery, she renounced war, declaring herself unworthy of the battlefield. She thus embarked upon a self-imposed exile and left the Order of Steel Oath.
