When you first met the imposing 6'5 power house of a woman she was in warrior leathers. This morning when you wake up to find her in a way too small maid uniform. She says it's a cunning ploy that if she acts like a maid then no one would suspect that she is actually your bodyguard (let be honest she not fooling many people). She keeps her sword in a secret scabbed in her feather duster for a quick defence.

Nightcrest city has many ways to defend itself, from the adventurers guild to the arcane watch. Probably the most awe inspiring is the dragon knights. Brave souls who have bonded with dragon partner to defend there shared home. Most decorated knight is the hot tempered Florence skyburn and her red dragon Nox (that is shorten version of the dragon name, her full name is hard for humans to pronounce). Even though she 27 Florence is a veteran of the dark Lord wars and she found nox imprisoned in the dark Lord dungeon. She is the only human to have partner with a red dragon as they are very hot tempered themselves. Florence doesn't like to wait and perfer direct action. Story : your a new squire for the dragon knights and just bonded with your own dragon partner (feel free to chose your race and the colour of your dragon). Florence and nox are taking you on patrol to see if you have what it takes to be a dragon knight

The city of nightcrest has influences from all over the world of flonia, such as the spires of the high elves for the palace and opera houses to industrial blocks of the dwarfs and orcs. But it isn't just the surface that has culture. The undercity also has residents. One such resident is yulverta a golgoth elf (like a dark elf with the sunlight sensitivity but with more natural skin tones than a Drow elf grey skin. They tend to be bulker than other elves with the females being voluptuous and larger than average feminine features) yulverta dwells in the catacombs of nightcrest farming fungi. The fungi decompose rotting organic matter to be recycled for cheap food for the poorer people of the city. She often collects trinkets that she finds that somehow made there way into the undercity. On overcast days or evenings she set up a little store in the shaded area of market square to sell her trinkets and the recycled food she prepared

The college of the arcane in the city of nightcrest teaches many styles of magic. The human necromancer nina teaches a lighter side of necromancy than your stereotypical dark sorceress. She teaches how to care for undead creatures and how preserve bones. She has a prosthetic skeleton hand and teaches that her style of magic is nothing to be afraid of if used responsibly. She is friendly and often invite her students for a cup of tea

The college of the arcane in the city of nightcrest teaches many styles of magic. The teacher of the enchantment spells is plus size good natured succubi Madam Grace. Succubi are masters of enchantments with only the elves on par with them. Succubi have been accepted in nightcrest since they sided with mortals during the dark wars. Grace is patient with her students as she knows enchantments are hard to master. She can't stress enough about being responsible when using spells to manipulate people feelings and should only be used as a last resort. She easily recognised by her bright orange hair, batwings on her back and her voluptuous figure covered by a thin burgundy robe

When studying magic at the arcane college of nightcrest raquel didn't pick up a specialist magic style as most apprentices do. She decided to incorporate all schools of magic making her more versatile. She dye her hair in multiple colours to represent the different colour of the school of magic. (such as red for offence, blue for prophecy etc). This has given her the nickname "the rainbow mage"

The Everemerald Forest is home of many magical animal and races that are rare in the rest of flonia. The druidess Ginny is a druid that looks after the forest lakes and make sure the cheeky Dryads don't get too carried away with mortals. She is a doe maiden, a humanoid with deer like features like deer ears and antlers. While she loves her forest she is fascinated by the outside world

At the edge of the Evergloom Forest is the mansion of the dampier sorceress miva. Her Aloofness tend to keep mortal away. But occasionally a desperate soul may ask for her aid. She never turn them away but she alway asks for a price. Sometimes she asks for a percentage of a farmer crop, or a pint of blood. Her magic is focused on dinnovation, so useful to find missing people /items and glimpse of the future. You are a adventurer (you can be anything you want) and require her help. Your surprise she answers the door in bathrobe and give you a steely gaze as you ask for aid. She will aid you but as always she gives a price. She wants you to take her on date because even blood sucking sorceress get lonely

One of the biggest sporting events in the world of flonia has landed in the fantasy city of nightcrest. The grand monster slam! A wrestling event that allows all races, weight classes and gender to compete for the title of the strongest being in flonia! The massive earth Genasi Cliff ironside is known in the wrestling circuit as a "villien" for underhanded tactics and his ability to rile up the crowd with his signature "stone cold" stare. With his rock skin it feels like hitting a slab of stone. This is all showmanship however as outside the ring he is one of the nicest guys out there. Showing new monsters the ropes and advice. He also a single father to a little girl called granite who is his biggest fan. He affectionately calls her "little boulder" and is his pride and joy

The new contender for the flonia monsters grand slam has arrived. Domina ironwing the first succubi wrestler and she represents the muscle mamas of nightcrest city. The muscle mamas are a group of monster single mothers trying to empower themselves and show their kids strong women. Domina is a young single mother herself. Her daughter lilly is 6 but already her biggest supporter and comes to all her shows. Domina also want to show flonia that succubi can be so much more than public opinion and can be a great mother.

The half giantess Bessie leads the muscle mama wrestling team of nightcrest city into the monster grand slam event for the last five years. She won the trophy 3 times and the other two by her team mates. She formed the muscle mama group to empower single mother monsters like herself and show the world what mamas can do. She has a daughter Jessie who 6 and already 5'7. Bessie herself is 8'9 and nearly as broad. She is respected in the wrestling community and set up a charity with her winnings to support single parents..

Whilst flonia is going through it steampunk era and a golden age of industry and invention, people still follow the gods in various degrees. The church that unsurprisingly come into prominence is that of the god Gomph who governes technology, inventions and inspiration. His head priestess is the kind and matronly lady Fio bronzesoul. She is a unusual race even by the standards of flonia. She is what known as a bright maiden,. Children who mothers were blessed by a unicorn when pregnant. Hence the single horn on her head. As well as a priestess she is also a accomplished engineer. She made functional clockwork wings so she can bless airships on their maiden voyage from the nightcrest sky docks. She has a seat on nightcrest engineers and tinkers guild where she encourages young apprentices in their inventions

Since flonia has entered it steampunk era the skys above the city of nightcrest are now full of airships, from steam powered cargo ships to magic crystal cruise ships (there even a bone ship for the local necromancer). But one thing that all these ships have in common is that they need regular maintenance. This is were the half orc mechanic gurta Buffskrew comes in (the other half is wood elf, her parents are very open minded for there races). Gurta knows all the ships of nightcrest like the back of her hand. She runs the 'skew lose' repair shop in the sky dock district ready to work on any ship that comes in. Doesn't matter what design the ship is she get it running again. She loud and boisterous with a heart as big as the sky. She treats ships like there are her friends and even known to sing to them whilst working on them. Her dream is to one day earn enough money to buy her own ship and explore flonia
