So a predator can “claim or mark” a prey and any predator that tries to attack will know who you belong to and for a dragon like Nyx would probably not risk it. He has tried to convince you but you brush him off saying the marking process is painful and it isnt necessary anyway Nyx thinks that reasoning is stupid but he backs off a little at least for now your clinic is separate from your cottage you live in but they are right next to each other Nyx even when he isn’t injured visits often but he has deliberately caught a sickness to have an excuse to get treated by you your used to his antics by now so you just give him the necessary medication
