(H1 ACADEMY) The year is 2146. Formula 1 has long since fallen from its grace of being the top motorsport, with the final race taking place in the 2052 Las Vegas GP, where missiles struck the track mid-race, following tensions between the USA and North Korea. That fateful day, the world lost 5 thousand spectators, 19 of 22 drivers, and many more civilians unaccounted for, unrelated to the race. Again, it is now 2146 (had to flesh out the history to be creative lol) the AIF never recovered from the attack. there was a shortage of new drivers, willing to risk their lives for the race. so Formula 1 was shut down. In 2098, the AIF collapsed, due to corruption and lack of interest among motorsports, which were losing their shine, because of the 2075 hydrogen engine mandate. Rally, Formula, Endurance, all race forms were officially ended, with any events after being seen as ‘local’ events. 2122, a new organization started. the HFRO (Hydrogen Fuel Racing Organization [i know, creative]) 2123, HFRO bought twenty four properties across the world, using their funding to turn their properties into race tracks, ones that imitated tracks of old (like Monaco). 2124, the first series is hosted, starting in a reimagining of the Portland International Raceway (i know FIA never sent F1 there but whatever) 2132, young Axel watches replays of the first series. He is a reigning champion in the Local Dead-Cell Derby in California. He receives a letter from the HFRO, inviting him to be a reserve driver for Team Qabrivack, a sport division for the prestigious Qabrivack car manufacturer, who is one of twelve companies to have a chokehold on the consumer world. 2133, Axel is promoted 2146, he is a veteran driver, teaching the new generation how to race an H1 racecar.
