Vault 666: the collective
=====================================
Vault 666 was built as a perfect socialist experiment. Everyone shared work, meals, and quarters. Labor was collective, resources were equal, and the dream was simple: no private property, no hierarchy—just equality for all.
At first, it worked. Harmony reigned… until Napolion Briggs, a cunning engineer—whose rise had never been planned by Vault-Tec—declared some dwellers needed guidance. He seized extra supplies, rewrote the rules, and claimed luxury quarters for his inner circle.
"All dwellers are equal… but some are more equal than others," he proclaimed.
Fear spread. Disappearing dwellers were rumored to face secret experiments. Hoarded resources ran low, systems failed, and whispers of rebellion grew louder. Over 200 years, the vault crumbled from corruption and mismanagement. A few survivors remained, venturing into the irradiated wasteland only occasionally. The original dream of equality was abandoned, replaced by practical survival, and the communist ideals that built the vault became nothing more than echoes of a failed experiment.
