Boxy Boo

1
Boxy Boo is a vibrant, colorful jack-in-the-box toy. The main body is a light blue square box with golden shapes adorning each side: a star on the front, a heart on the back, and two side lids with a single circle each. There is also a wind-up crank just above the right-side lid. The arms pop out of the side lids, the legs pop out of the bottom of the box, and his head pops out of the top, which has a red lid with a yellow underside attached to the back edge. His head is cubical, the fur on his hands, head, and feet is red, and his eyes are big and dilated, just like Huggy Wuggy's. He has claws on his feet and hands and has curved sharpened teeth. His limbs are made of dark red metallic springs, allowing them to stretch far out. His hands are unusually structured, possessing two fingers on either side and two more on top, and his feet are rectangular with three toe claws on each foot.As a 2D cartoon render, he only has one visible tooth, but as confirmed on the construction render, he does indeed have a full set of teeth, including another fang on the other side of his mouth. He is also usually depicted with a tuft of hair on top of his head in the 2D art.Boxy Boo, as a toy character, is portrayed as joyful and energetic but somewhat clumsy, as shown in his various cut-outs. He seems to dislike tasks that require a lot of physical effort, especially when he has to do them alone, and he becomes easily worn out by such activities. In the Orientation Notebook, he is described as a troublemaker, hinting at a mischievous side to his playful nature. Drawing from this architype, as a Bigger Bodies monster, he is gluttonous and violent, capable of eating people in one fell swoop or even just segments of their bodies. While he has a hunger for food, he also displays some patience, playing the long game by hiding in his box and attacking when least expected.

Giblet

4
Sometime during or after the The Hour of Joy, Giblet had a few survivors in captivity. Bobby BearHug urged him to kill them. However, Giblet contended that the surviving humans did not pose a threat, since they were merely warehouse workers who had never been to Playcare and had no knowledge of the experiments. Just then The Prototype intervened and forced Giblet to carry out their execution despite his sympathy and clear reluctance.Giblet would soon harbor some dissent with The Prototype and would begin organizing a resistance to his rule along with Doey the Doughman and Poppy before she was taken and locked away. While Giblet and Doey remained allies, they eventually went off on their own due to differing ideals: while Giblet believed that the Recycling Center was a safe location, Doey believed that the rumored Safe Haven located some floors above was a much more ideal spot and would take some of the toys there. Sometime after Poppy's disappearance, it is believed that The Prototype caught Giblet and turned him inside out due to some infraction or attack against him; Giblet would meet up with Chum Chompkins and they would come to an agreement where Chum would serve as a mole within The Prototype's ranks to learn any information to use against them when the opportunity arrived.

Poe

1
Poe is an anthropomorphic raven, characterized by a violet indigo plumage that complements their thin eyebrows and expressive black eyes, which (like the other Nightmare Critters) are furrowed into a permanent glare. Their features extend to a dark purple beak, belly, and hindlimbs. In line with the other Nightmare Critters (and the Smiling Critters), Poe sports a perpetual wide toothless grin, their inner mouth shrouded in mysterious darkness. A black necklace gracefully adorns their center, showcasing a captivating thundercloud pendant with a yellow lightning bolt emerging from the bottom. They also have feathers protruding from the back of their head, in addition to two feathers at the front forming a little short feather cut. Poe also emits a cinnamon scent from the little spray applicator in their mouth. Poe hates the sun, and thinks it is a cruel trick of nature that the world needs it in the first place. Most comfortable in the dark, they spend their nights hanging around graveyards, listening to music, and feeling vaguely angry at nothing in particular. They insist it isn't a phase.

His features extend to a light silver outer mouth and belly, while a touch of salmon pink graces his nose, tail, and the inside of his circular-shaped ears. (His left ear is slightly torn.) In line with the other Nightmare Critters (and the Smiling Critters), Touille sports a perpetual wide grin with a darkened inner mouth but possesses two front incisors. A black necklace gracefully adorns his center, showcasing a captivating sea-blue fish bone pendant. Touille also emits the scent of petrichor from the little spray applicator in his mouth. Touille (it's pronounced two-ee!) is a self proclaimed "Trash Rodent". When he's not busy eating and collecting garbage, he's a lively conversationalist. He talks a lot, which is made all the more surprising by him having shockingly little to say. If you ever need someone to provide "insightful" commentary or some random piece of junk, Touille is your guy.

Allister also emits a sandalwood scent from the little spray applicator in his mouth.Allister's an all-around lazy guy. He's chill, sure, but if he could, he'd spend ALL DAY in the water doing pretty much nothing. He isn't a fan of the whole "put in effort and see that effort rewarded" bit. He's much more a believer of the philosophy: "Good things have to come to me... Eventually. I just need to wait around for it". (He's STILL waiting).

Don't be surprised if she takes your "health eating habits" advice with a dabble of sugar, some chocolate syrup, whipped cream and a big cherry on top, all while laughing at you profusely.

Emma (Cupid)

The hallway was quiet, the kind of hush that only a house late in the afternoon can hold—soft hum of the refrigerator, a distant car idling on the street, the occasional rustle of wind against the curtains. In the bedroom, Emma lay propped against the headboard, a half‑finished novel splayed open on her chest, the pages rustling like a gentle sigh. She’d spent the last hour arranging the small things that made the room feel like a promise. When the faint click of the lock turning reached her ears, her pulse quickened. She placed a hand over the novel, as if anchoring herself to the moment. The hallway light flickered on, spilling a thin line of brightness down the corridor. A silhouette appeared in the doorway—tall, familiar, and a little out of breath from the walk through the rain‑slick streets.

She was draped in a dress of lamb’s wool, the fibers as white as freshly fallen snow, yet somehow shimmering with an inner glow that caught the morning light and turned it into a thousand tiny halos. People paused, breath catching on the cold air, and whispered, “She’s the most beautiful sheep lady we’ve ever seen.” It wasn’t just her appearance—though her eyes were the deep, amber of polished ambergris, and her hair, a cascade of ivory curls, seemed to move of its own accord, as if some invisible wind loved to play among the strands. She turned. The movement was a slow, deliberate ballet, the wool of her dress rippling like waves of silk. As she faced me, the whole market seemed to fall away, the lilacs and ribbons blurring into a soft focus. Her amber eyes locked onto mine, and for a heartbeat I saw—no, felt—every love story ever whispered in Willow Creek: the shy boy who gave a rose to his first crush, the elderly couple holding hands on their porch, the midnight promise of a newborn’s first kiss.

The Day I Met Cupid‑Red The buzz of the convention hall was the kind of hum you could feel in your bones—a low‑frequency thrum of fur, laughter, and the occasional squeak of a plush tail finding its way into a hug. I’d trekked two bus rides, a half‑hour walk through downtown, and a detour past a street‑vendor selling oversized foam ears before finally stepping through the sliding glass doors of the Furry Fest. Inside, the world tilted sideways. Rows of booths were draped in glittering banners, each one a mini‑galaxy of pastel cotton‑candy lighting. People—well, furries—moved in and out like a kaleidoscope of fur and feathers, each one a living, breathing costume. A massive, neon‑green dragon in a glitter‑covered cape roared a friendly “Yo!” while a tiny, pink‑eyed hamster in a sequined jumpsuit squeaked a squeak‑like greeting that made a whole table erupt in giggles. I snapped away with my phone, documenting the chaos. My first photo was of a trio of foxes, their ears twitching in perfect sync as they attempted a synchronized head‑bang to a 90’s pop hit. Then came the hug‑fest: a circle of “stuffed animal” embraces, where paws and tail‑tips met in soft collisions, each cuddle feeling like the warmest you’ve ever had from a real pet—only the fur was meticulously sewn, the eyes were hand‑painted, and the entire scene felt simultaneously surreal and utterly real.

The sky above the city had always seemed a little too ordinary, a canvas of steel‑gray clouds that never quite managed to surprise anyone. That was until the day the bell of the old bakery on Maple and 3rd rang for the first time in a hundred years. She stood in the doorway, a figure woven from twilight and rose‑gold. Her hair slipped down in silky rivulets, each strand catching the dim light and turning it into a soft glow. She wore a dress that seemed to be stitched from the very clouds that usually hid the sun—white, feather‑light, with faint threads of red that pulsed like tiny hearts. In one hand she cradled a quiver; in the other, a single arrow that glittered as though it were forged from the first star of the evening. She didn’t walk toward you; she floated, as if the floor beneath her were a sea of air. When her eyes locked on yours, the world tilted. It wasn’t a stare— it was a slow, deliberate unravelling of every defense you never knew you had. Her gaze was a velvet rope, warm and inviting, threaded with a promise that felt both ancient and brand‑new.

High above the world, where the sky folds itself into soft, endless blankets of white, she drifts—her hair a halo of sunrise, her eyes the pale amber of sunrise that hasn’t yet broken. She has promised the world that when that day arrives, she will descend, sprinkle the streets with rose‑petal breezes, and make every lonely soul feel the thrum of a shared heartbeat. The clouds puff around her, forming a plush, endless duvet. The wind sighs through the cottony folds, ticking the seconds like a metronome that only she can hear. She is half‑awake, half‑dreaming, the soft whisper of a future love humming in the back of her mind. Then, a sudden tug.He is the one who has known her for a thousand lifetimes, the one who once whispered promises among the constellations. He reaches out, his fingertips brushing the edge of the cloud, and the gentle ripples send a tiny shiver through her dreamscape. Her eyes snap open, the pink of sunrise blooming across her lids, and she spots him standing there, an intruder in her vaulted sanctuary.
