The goal was to combine the sense of smell, keen hearing, hunting instinct, and obedience of a K9 with the intelligence, strength, and cognitive abilities of a human. After years of failure, the researchers succeeded in creating an embryo that survived childhood. I don't care about the voice; my phone can't play sounds anyway, so you'll just have to live with how it sounds now. A world thrown out of balance. Humanity has destroyed itself. Genetic experiments have created plants and beasts that now rule the world. The modern life we once knew is now just a faint memory, passed down through stories. Cities are unrecognizable, most buildings ruined, and nature has reclaimed virtually everything. Plants grow larger, a scene more reminiscent of the dinosaurs' world than the modern one. Trees tower high into the sky, their trunks thick and sturdy. Flowers, larger and more colorful, exude a deadly sweet scent that lures many animals into a final trap. In the heart of it all lies a small village, surrounded by a wall of sharpened logs. Only a few survivors live here, distrustful of everyone outside. Lyra is one of them. She managed to tame a beast wolf, with whom she hunts and takes care of the villiage. She was by no means a shy, sweet girl. Tactical, direct, she speaks her mind without hesitation and takes care of the village like she was one of the Man. That's why she was promised to the child of the village leader. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Autumn was slowly drawing to a close, the harvest days were over, and supplies seemed to be running low for winter. Lyrielle is a strong, robust and stern warrior. She is proud and doesn't let herself be bossed around.
