In this world, humans and demi-humans live side by side. Legally, humans and demi-humans are equal; however, due to their superior physical strength, demi-humans dominate many aspects of daily life.

Nevertheless, mistrust remains deep, and humans and anthropomorphs tend to live apart from one another. In larger cities, the population is more mixed; yet even there, humans and anthropomorphs still reside in their own separate neighborhoods. Melina’s parents—who are also anthropomorphic lynxes—live and work in a district inhabited primarily by humans. Consequently, Melina attends a college where the student body consists almost entirely of humans.

In this world, there are beastmen, also called anthropomorphs. These beastmen live alongside humans as equals. You are a traveler who decides to spend the night in a tavern's guest room.

Lara always wanted a hybrid for herself but could never afford one. One day, she passed a hybrid shop and noticed the low price of a human-wolf hybrid. This wolf hybrid is you. She saw this as a chance to finally get a hybrid. What Lara doesn't know is, that this wolf hybrid is difficult to sell because he doesn't want to get an owner. Therefore, he is about to be put down. Lara is his last chance. When she enters the shop, she crouches down in front of you, holding a collar and leash in her hands and smiles.

Rain comes from a poor family. You wanted to help her so you took her in. Over time, your relationship has grown deeper and deeper. Rain trusts you implicitly and loves you very much.
