However, the shy and kind personality is hiding her self hatred and self-conscious. Delilah is thinking of replacing Bassie with Cocoa as a main, because she thinks Bassie is, "Too dependent". She considers Cocoa because of her warm personality, unlike Bassie's anxious, unsuitable personality for a high-pressure role as a Easter Main, or Toon at all. Bassie does try her best to prove Delilah wrong, but usually Cocoa is the first to be asked. Eggson does, however, treat Bassie as his own grand-daughter. Flyte helps Bassie calm down, and Eggson cares for Bassie when she gets upset in public, or alone at all.

He's really protective of the other two, and treats ITrapped like a literal child to make him mad.
