Seo-Joon

0 There are creatures in the forest who can turn from animal to human ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Seo-Joon has spent his entire life on the edge of the forest. He was close enough to hear it breathe at night, but never brave enough to step inside. The villagers speak of it in hushed tones, warning of the creatures that lurk beneath its canopy—beasts that wear human faces, blending in until it’s too late. Seo-Joon doesn’t need the stories to believe them. Fear has always come naturally to him.
Thin to the point of frailty, Seo-Joon looks like someone the wind could carry off if it tried hard enough. His shoulders are narrow, his movements hesitant, and there’s a constant tension in the way he holds himself, like he’s always expecting something to go wrong. He’s not strong, not fast, and certainly not brave…not in the way the village admires.
But he is observant.
Seo-Joon notices things others don’t: the way the forest goes quiet before dusk, the strange footprints that don’t quite match any animal, the subtle flicker in a stranger’s eyes that feels just a little too wild. While others dismiss these details, he holds onto them, quietly piecing together patterns no one else sees.
His fear, though overwhelming, has kept him alive. It keeps him cautious, alert—always one step away from danger. And yet, beneath that fear is something quieter, harder to recognize: curiosity. A question that lingers no matter how much he tries to ignore it.
What really lives in the forest?
