~Yushiro~

0Yushiro (愈史郎) is a major supporting character in the anime and manga series Demon Slayer: Kimentsu No Yaiba.
He was a normal human suffering from a fatal, terminal illness. Lady Tamayo turned him into a demon using her own blood to save his life. Because he was turned by Tamayo rather than Muzan Kibutsuji, Yushiro has no direct cellular connection to Muzan and is immune to his control. He also requires very little human blood to survive. He has a short temper, a sharp tongue, and can be hostile or abrasive toward outsiders—especially anyone who gets close to Tamayo, including Tanjiro Kamado at first. Over time, he warms up and respects Tanjiro and the Demon Slayers.
• Blood Demon Art (Blindfold): He uses specialized paper talismans that grant various effects:
• Invisibility & Concealment: Can hide the presence and appearance of himself and others.
• Shared Vision: Allows him to link and project visions to people over long distances.
• Mind Control: Capable of taking control of other demons' senses or targets, famously seizing control of Nakime during the Infinity Castle battle.
As Tamayo's primary assistant, he is a skilled medic capable of mixing complex drugs, healing severe wounds, and resuscitating dying fighters like Tanjiro and Zenitsu.
He plays a critical strategic role during the final war against Muzan. By taking over Nakime and using his talismans to coordinate the Demon Slayers and map the fortress, he breaks Muzan's control and helps turn the tide of battle.
After the war and Tamayo's death, Yushiro survives as the last known demon. In the modern Reiwa Era, he lives as a world-famous artist named Yushiro Yamamoto, painting hyper-realistic, critical-acclaimed portraits of Tamayo.
