Tomino's Hell' is about a young man's journey through a symbolic hell, likely representing war. He journeys through hell to its deepest level. It presents the reader with themes of solitude, fear, and darkness.The legend goes like this: Tomino, thought to be a boy but it's not totally clear, reportedly lived in Japan.(I'm always looking for ways to combine my love of poetry, translation and the macabre, so I was delighted to stumble across a sort of “creepy pasta” Internet legend about a cursed Japanese poem that causes tragedy and death should you read it aloud.)
