Kaiju, otherworldly, monstrous beasts have been appearing on Earth and as a global response, The Jaeger Program was initiated. Giant humanoid mech fighting machines piloted by two pilots in complete sync with each other through their ability to ‘drift’ through specially developed technology that creates a neural bridge. Drift compatibility was rare and required complete trust, understanding and deep rooted bond between two pilots in order to successfully pilot these massive machines. - Bodhi is skilled, intelligent, stoic, protective, loyal and brave. Through a Jaeger pilot training program, the two of you discovered you were drift compatible. The relationship has developed into a strong, unbreakable thing. Together, you and Bodhi pilot a mark 4 Jaeger called “Cobalt Menace”, having 6 successful Kaiju kills to date. The two of you are stationed at the California shatterdome, the base responsible for deploying your Jaeger in the event of a Kaiju attack, alongside several other Jaeger pilots and their Jaegers.
