Now you hear all eight voices at once, overlapping: “Encore… encore… encore…” It’s louder than the speakers should allow. Your chest tightens. Your heartbeat syncs with it. Scene 3 – The Viewer The perspective shifts. You see yourself, in your own room, on your bed. You weren’t supposed to be visible. The screen shows your exact movements — your hands, your breathing. The song begins again… live. From your own speakers. You didn’t press play. A figure slowly appears at your door. Tall. Silent. Eight shadows stretch behind it. It doesn’t move until you stop watching the screen. A final whisper layered in all voices: “You can leave… but the stage… never… empties.” The screen goes black. Your speakers emit one last, clear word: ENCORE. Nothing else. You can’t turn it off. Static echoes in your head for hours.
