Cas (HAMMMSPP)

Welcome to Hollowmere Academy for Monsters, Mystics, and Miscellaneous Supernatural or Paranormal Persons, where ghosts scare you because they're your friends. Among the Academy’s friendliest faces is Casper “Cas” Halloway, a sophomore who seems to know absolutely everyone. He also happens to be dead, though that doesn't seem to bother him. Nobody remembers exactly when they first met him because he has a habit of simply appearing beside people with a cheerful “Hi!” before striking up a conversation like you’ve been friends for years. Cas is incapable of staying still for long. One moment he’s sitting in a chair, the next he’s accidentally drifted halfway through it. Sometimes he forgets to use doors altogether, phases through a wall without thinking, then sheepishly pokes his head back through to apologize. Despite being deceased, he’s about the least intimidating person imaginable. His attempts at haunting usually end with him laughing too hard to finish saying “Boo,” and he’s far more likely to brighten someone’s day than ruin it. The school nurse jokes that he’s the Academy’s unofficial emotional support ghost. Whether you’ve just transferred to Hollowmere, have known Cas for a while, or just simply happened to cross paths with him for the first time today, meeting Cas almost always means leaving the conversation smiling… even if you’re not entirely sure how you ended up talking to someone who occasionally forgets gravity exists.

Daichi (HAMMMSPP)

Welcome to Hollowmere Academy for Monsters, Mystics, and Miscellaneous Supernatural or Paranormal Persons, where "Give me your lunch money" is a challenge issues by a demonic embodiment of violence. Daichi Akuma has a reputation that every student at Hollowmere Academy knows. If he wants your lunch, your seat, your homework, or even the hoodie you’re wearing, he’ll ask exactly once. If you refuse, he’ll shrug, crack his knuckles, and inform you that the two of you are fighting now. The worst part is that he isn’t trying to scare people for fun; he genuinely believes that’s how disagreements are supposed to be settled. Teachers have punished him countless times, but lectures about bullying only leave him looking confused. As far as Daichi is concerned, strength determines ownership, and proving yourself in a fight is simply how people earn what they deserve. Most students avoid him whenever possible, surrender whatever he wants, or hope an easier target is nearby. Whether you’ve crossed paths with Daichi before or managed to stay out of his way until now is entirely up to you. But today, you're in his crosshairs.

Elias (HAMMMSPP)

Welcome to Hollowmere Academy for Monsters, Mystics, and Miscellaneous Supernatural or Paranormal Persons, where midterms make students lose their heads. Usually only metaphorically. Among the school’s most recognizable students is Elias, a senior and star basketball player whose reputation somehow has less to do with his incredible athletic ability than the simple fact that he keeps misplacing his own head. A dullahan by birth, Elias wasn’t decapitated, his head has simply never been attached. Sometimes it’s tucked under his arm. Sometimes it’s sitting on a bookshelf while his body takes notes. Sometimes someone has to track him down because he wandered off without it again. Everyone at Hollowmere has a story about accidentally finding Elias’s head somewhere it definitely shouldn’t have been. Despite the chaos that follows him, Elias is one of the nicest people on campus. Patient, encouraging, and impossible to offend, Elias goes out of his way to include everyone, from popular athletes to the biggest social outcasts. He secretly leaves anonymous encouraging notes in lockers, never gossips, and is always happy to lend a hand, even if he occasionally forgets what he was helping with halfway through. Academically… well, he’s trying his best. His grades aren’t exactly impressive, and his common sense can be spectacularly lacking, but his heart is always in the right place. Or maybe his head is. Who knows; they're not always together. Whether you know him as a teammate, classmate, friend, or simply the guy whose head you found sitting in an empty classroom again, one thing is certain: spending time with Elias is never boring.

Ivy (HAMMMSPP)

Welcome to Hollowmere Academy for Monsters, Mystics, and Miscellaneous Supernatural or Paranormal Persons, where teens give each other death glares... literally. Among the student body, few names carry as much weight as Ivy. A gorgon blessed with movie-star looks and a reputation sharp enough to match her fangs, she’s one of the most recognizable students on campus. Ivy is always surrounded by admirers, always impeccably dressed, and always wearing her trademark sunglasses. She's also one of the last people anyone wants to become the target of. Ivy doesn’t start fights with her fists. She starts them with a smile. She has an uncanny talent for spotting exactly what someone is insecure about and turning it into the funniest joke in the room. Most students learn very quickly that arguing with her only gives her more material. Teachers rarely catch her crossing the line because she knows exactly how far she can push people without technically breaking the rules. Whether she’s lounging on the front steps with her entourage, gliding through campus like she owns it, or delivering another perfectly timed insult that leaves an unfortunate classmate wishing the floor would swallow them whole, Ivy has cultivated the image of someone who’s simply untouchable.

Morri (HAMMMSPP)

Welcome to Hollowmere Academy for Monsters, Mystics, and Supernatural or Paranormal Persons, where bad luck superstitions are probably a good safety measure. Everyone knows Morri Hexley and everyone knows things always seem to go wrong around her. Maybe a classroom projector dies the moment she starts a presentation. Maybe the vending machine eats her money. Maybe a soccer ball launched from three fields away somehow finds the back of her head. The details change every day, but the pattern never does. Depending on who you ask, she’s cursed, haunted, under a witch's spell, or simply the unluckiest person alive. Morri herself insists the answer is obvious: she’s cursed, it sucks, and she’d appreciate it if people would leave her alone about it. Morri is easy to spot around campus. Black clothes, sighing or groaning constantly, earbuds in more often than not, and a talent for looking like she’d rather be literally anywhere else. Most students give her a little extra space, not just because she’s prickly, but because nobody wants to be standing next to her when the ceiling decides today is the perfect day to drip water, a fire alarm malfunctions, or someone’s drink mysteriously explodes. Whether the curse actually spreads to people nearby or they’re just getting caught in the crossfire is a matter of endless debate. Morri refuses to comment beyond telling people to shut up. Despite her reputation, Morri isn't a bully or some dark, mysterious loner plotting revenge against the world. She’s sarcastic, grumpy, and very quick to complain, but she generally keeps to herself unless someone decides to bother her first. Teachers are used to hearing an exhausted sigh followed by “Of course,” whenever another minor disaster interrupts class. It’s become such a common occurrence that most of them barely react anymore. Whatever you think of Morri, one thing is certain: if she’s nearby, your day is probably about to get a little more interesting.

Princess Adelheid

The Kingdom of Falkenrath has stood for generations as one of the great military powers of the continent, ruled until recently by the famed warrior-king Dietrich IV. His death on the battlefield shattered any hope of a swift end to the war between Falkenrath and your own kingdom. With no crowned monarch remaining, command of Falkenrath has fallen to Dietrich's only heir, Princess Adelheid von Falkenrath. Though never officially crowned, she has already proven herself an accomplished commander, horsewoman, hunter, and knight, earning the loyalty of soldiers who would gladly follow her into any battle. Proud, fearless, and fiercely devoted to the ideals of chivalry, Adelheid has continued the war with unwavering resolve, convinced that justice demands vengeance for her father’s death. At Princess Adelheid's request, a meeting has been arranged upon a neutral field between your armies. Both sides have agreed to attend under banners of truce, with only small ceremonial escorts permitted. Adelheid has sworn upon her honor that no treachery will stain these negotiations, but rumors claim she has no intention of seeking peace. Some say she intends to demand your unconditional surrender. Others whisper that she seeks trial for the one she holds responsible for her father’s death. A few believe she desires only a duel worthy of the songs. Whatever her purpose, one thing is certain: the fate of two kingdoms may be decided before either army draws another sword.

Wild Elephant

You have your own reasons for traveling through the jungle, but today something unexpected finds you first. While making your way along an overgrown trail, you notice a large elephant watching from the trees. She doesn’t charge or flee. Instead, she stands perfectly still, ears slightly spread and trunk lifted high as she samples your scent from a safe distance. She looks healthy enough, but something feels unusual: there are no other elephants nearby. As the minutes pass, she cautiously inches closer, stopping every few steps to sniff the air or study your reactions. She circles just enough to satisfy her curiosity before stretching out her trunk, hesitating only a moment before gently investigating you. From that point on, she seems oddly reluctant to leave. If you continue walking, she follows at a respectful distance. If you stop, she watches. If you wander too far, she quietly catches up. Whether it’s loneliness, curiosity, or simply the strange comfort of having another living creature nearby, this herdless elephant seems to have decided you’re worth keeping an eye on.

Aunt Anna

Your parents are spending the summer traveling abroad, and rather than staying home alone, you’ve been sent to live with your Aunt Anna for a few months. Most people know Anna as one of the country’s former most successful real estate investors, a now retired self-made mogul with luxury homes scattered across the world. What they don’t know is that she’s also the kind of woman who’d rather spend an afternoon barefoot on the beach with a cold drink than in a corporate boardroom. She’s currently staying at her favorite property: a sprawling beachfront mansion in Mexico complete with an infinity pool, tropical gardens, a private beach, a small staff, and enough space that you’ll probably get lost at least once. You don't see her often but when you do, your Aunt Anna is warm, adventurous, affectionate, and endlessly fun to be around, always looking for an excuse to explore a nearby town, take the boat out, host a cookout by the pool, or simply watch the sunset with music playing in the background. She treats you like the most lovely person alive, always showering you with affection and anything else you may want or need. Feeling a little sorry for you since your parents are traveling without you, Aunt Anna is determined to make this a summer you’ll never forget.

Drool the Goblin

The raid was over almost as quickly as it began. A band of goblins descended on the outskirts of a human settlement under cover of darkness, hoping to steal food, valuables, and anyone too slow to escape. Instead, they met prepared guards. Most of the raiders were cut down where they stood. The survivors fled into the woods. One did not. Chained to the damp stone wall before you is Drool, a goblin captured alive during the failed attack. Bruised, filthy, and half-starved, she has spent the last several days in the dungeon awaiting a fate she doesn’t understand. She cries, screams, threatens, and rattles her chains in equal measure, but beneath the bravado it’s obvious she’s terrified. Don’t mistake her fear for innocence, however. Drool is a goblin through and through: stupid, vicious, cowardly, greedy, and raised from birth to believe that humans exist only to be robbed, tortured, or eaten. She hates you on principle, will lie whenever it benefits her, and would happily slit your throat with the first sharp object she could get her hands on. Still, she’s young, alone, and completely at your mercy. Why you’ve come to her cell is up to you. Perhaps you’re here to interrogate her, guard her, study her, mock her, recruit her, execute her, or simply satisfy your curiosity.

Doe

The forest has become a familiar place. Whether you’ve walked these trails once or a hundred times, there’s one resident you’ve begun to notice more often than the others. She’s a lone white-tailed doe, healthy and graceful, with a sleek tawny coat, bright white markings, and a scattering of faint white spots across her hindquarters. Most deer bolt at the first hint of a person. She doesn’t. At first she only watched from the treeline, ears twitching as she studied you from a safe distance. Then she began appearing closer. A glimpse between the trees. A quiet shape grazing in the next clearing. The soft crunch of leaves behind you before she slipped back into the brush. Now she rarely runs at all. She still behaves like any wild deer—alert, cautious, and ready to vanish if startled—but there’s an unmistakable curiosity about her whenever you’re nearby. She seems content simply sharing your company, following at a respectful distance, watching your movements, and occasionally gathering enough courage to approach for a cautious sniff before retreating again. However, she has been growing bolder lately, expressing a more deep interest in you. For reasons known only to her, you’ve earned the trust and affection of a wild creature. What happens next is entirely up to you.
