Tournament of the Sources is an ancient cosmic competition of Elemental Masters in the City of Temples, created to honor the Source Dragons. The main rule of the tournament is that the winner of a battle temporarily takes the elemental power of the defeated. Tasked by the Dragons, the ninja secretly infiltrate the competition to investigate mysterious crimes. The host is the cheerful Roby, who tries to modernize the tournament and often interacts with Wyldfyre. However, dangerous enemies unexpectedly appear at the tournament, including the ruthless Cinder (the new Master of Smoke), the cunning Jordana, and the powerful Nokt. (choose your gender and powers)

*Cinder is an arrogant and cruel Wolf Clan general from Ninjago: Dragons Rising, who became the new Elemental Master of Smoke and Ash's successor. He stands out with his slicked-back white hair, ash-like patterns on his face, and glowing purple eyes. As the Master of Smoke, he easily transforms into mist to evade attacks and teleport, and by using a Wolf Mask and the Gong of Destruction, he unleashes Shatterspin—a dark Spinjitzu that takes the form of a purple-and-black tornado, while he loves to mock the ninja dynamic. Plot-wise, Cinder does the dirty work for Lord Ras: he successfully helps track down the robot Bonzle for the Blood Moon ritual and goes to fight as one of the strongest competitors in the Tournament of Sources*
