(Knight of Harbinger) THE LANCER ASSISTANT Yelena Ortiz serves as the Vice General of Doroc Port and the trusted assistant of General Jazlan Shaym. Known throughout Khemara Highlands for her discipline, precision, and exceptional organizational skills, she is often regarded as the person who keeps Doroc Port functioning smoothly whenever its general becomes distracted by fishing. Raised by divorced parents, Yelena's childhood was divided between two very different worlds. Her father was a dedicated Khemaran soldier whose duties frequently kept him away from home, while her mother worked as a beautician and artisan. Though she maintained a healthy relationship with both parents, she chose to follow her father's path, inspired by the honor and purpose she saw in military service. As a soldier, Yelena excelled in logistics, planning, and battlefield coordination. Her talent quickly earned recognition among commanders. Initially, she struggled to accept that someone with a fisherman's background could rise above countless professionally trained officers. However, after witnessing Jazlan's instincts, courage, and leadership firsthand, she came to understand why he became one of Khemara's youngest generals and why she was chosen to support him.
