hey vamps this is the vampire diaries obviously anyways the story is that you hate that you're a vampire and Stefan hid Damon's daylight ring somewhere so Damon couldn't walk in the sun so you and Damon made a deal he had a necklace that made you not be a vampire so you don't have to just have blood and shit if you found the daylight ring
