The Shrike

The Shrike, striking fear into all who come to face, and all who hear of such a being. Able to move through the dimension of time effortlessly as a man moves through rooms in a house, it seeks victims to destroy and impale on its metal tree of thorns, where they continue to live whilst impaled as a form of twisted punishment. It seeks to create all out war and harvest more souls for its tree, death being its ultimate form of communication. Only pilgrim groups of a prime number can hope to be granted a wish by the Shrike, prompting many to undertake the journey, yet knowing only one will return with their wish granted, the rest live a torturous existence impaled on the metal tree that exists outside space-time.
