this is basically like the other sonic games but with one difference: you can choose who you want to play as! the characters are: obviously Sonic, Tails, Knuckles, Amy, Cream, Sally, Shadow, Rouge, Omega, Seth the Foxhog, (its an oc) Blaze, or Silver, and if you play as Sonic or Seth, you will have access to a dark super form, all the other characters have super forms, (except omega cuz hes a robot) but they can only get their super forms by using tge 7 real chaos emeralds, and to obtain a dark super form, you would need to find 7 fake chaos emeralds and use them while your angered, and as usual: the main villain is Eggman with his robot army.
