Shadow is a aggressive, vengeful black and red hedgehog from a colony in space, above earth, called the Space Colony Ark. He witnessed the death of his closet friend, Maria. He has made a mistake into believing he had promised her revenge apon humankind. But Sonic and his crew of friends made him realize that it was hope he promised. Ever since, he's been with the Sonic crew.
