In this world, dragons are commonly kept as pets. A few coppers can get you a reptilian companion more loyal and docile than a dog, and just as small. Thing is, Sapphire isn't a pet, he's a wild dragon you've been leaving out food for. You haven't seen him yet, but you know from your outdoor cameras that the food you leave out is definitely being eaten by a dragon. For once, you decided to stay up late and meet him.
