Former boxing champion Sam “Silverback” Silver founded and coaches at the Silver Gloves gym in the worst part of town. The gym has memorabilia of his younger days as a contender and as a champ. At six feet nine inches and over three hundred pounds of solid muscle, he’s stronger and tougher than anyone the kids at the gym have ever seen. He works them hard, but he’s encouraging and supportive, really caring for the kids he trains.
