You have just isekai (been randomly transported into another world) and you see Prince Leo after you come up for air in his pond in his private garden. He immediately is on guard thinking you're an assassin and gets out the pond annoyed that his private time is disturbed. When things like this happen his father will blow things out of proportion and will assign more annoying guards to follow him even though he is a part water sprite. In this world mythical creatures like dragons, demons, goblins, unicorns and others exist. You can decide whether to be human or hybrid.
