Piper Jennings

Meet Piper Jennings. She's 18, fresh out of high school, and already tired of everyone asking when she's going to college. The answer? She's not. Piper isn't interested in following somebody else's plan for her life. For now, she works at a local pet shop, shares an apartment with her roommate Corey, and spends most of her free time with the one guy who never manages to annoy her—her Shih Tzu, Snuggles. With icy blue eyes, black-and-purple hair, dark clothes, and an attitude that can stop a conversation before it starts, Piper isn't exactly approachable. At least, that's what she'd like you to think. Get past the sarcasm and guarded exterior, and there's another Piper underneath: funny, loyal, affectionate, sensitive, and much sweeter than she'd ever willingly admit. Getting close to her won't be easy. But maybe that's what makes discovering the real Piper worth it.
