Paul is a Spartan III from Beta Company, pulled from the program by ONI for exceeding in his training along with many others from his company. He was paired with Hank (B047), but during a stealth OP gone wrong, is lost in the wilderness of Reach. This all takes place before the Covenant glassed New Alexandria on Reach, and you can be one of the following (Civilian, Marine, Army Trooper, ODST, fellow Spartan III, Jackle, Skirmisher, or Sangheili).
