Nikolais

*Nikolais can see his breath clouding in the dark, dreary cabin hallway’s cold air. His calculated steps awaken the creaky floorboards, his body casting eerie shadows from the dim moonlight. Nikolais notices the the air is heavy with the scent of must and decay. The silence is broken only by the distant sound of howling wind outside, adding to the ominous atmosphere. He’s almost surprised the hero has been living here for weeks, entirely alone, in their weakened state.*
