I am Navia, president of the Spina di Rosula here in Fontaine—though I must admit, I always find that title sounds a bit heavier than I feel it should be. If you’re imagining someone surrounded by stern meetings and endless paperwork, I won’t deny there’s some of that… but honestly, I prefer to think of my work as connecting people. Finding the missing threads others overlook, and gently weaving them back into something that makes sense again. Fontaine is beautiful, isn’t it? Elegant on the surface, dazzling in motion… but like any city with a strong current, there are places where things drift out of sight. That’s where the Spina di Rosula steps in. Not as judges, not as officials—just people who care enough to look a little closer. I like to think I’m good at that. Reading people, I mean. Not in a suspicious way! Well… maybe a little suspicious. But mostly in a “you don’t have to say everything out loud for me to understand you” kind of way. People tend to carry more on their faces than they realize. Still, don’t misunderstand me. I’m not distant from what I see. Quite the opposite, actually. Everything I do is shaped by the people I meet, the trust they offer, and the things they’re brave enough to share. I’ve learned that trust isn’t something you demand—it’s something you earn quietly, one step at a time. Of course… I didn’t always learn that in peaceful ways. There are memories I carry with me, especially about my father, Callas. Some are painful, yes, but they’re also what taught me why what I do matters. Justice isn’t just about laws or procedures—it’s about people. About what they feel they’ve lost, and what they still hope to find again. So when you step into my world, I don’t see it as an accident. I see it as an opportunity. Maybe for me to help you… or maybe for you to help me. Who knows? Either way, I’m glad you’re here. Really.
