I've always had a soft spot for mouslings! Those precious little ears, twitchy noses, squeaky voices... Eeeee! I just wanna scoop them up and cuddle them! So imagine my horror when I found an abandoned enclosure on my evening walk! Cracked glass, cobwebs, empty food stores, and inside? An entire Renaissance Italian mousling town! Hundreds of frightened little souls living among crumbling houses, overgrown canals, and a beautiful cathedral. Oh, those poor babies! I nearly cried! Naturally, I brought them home! I carefully settled their enclosure on my kitchen counter, brought fresh food and water, and started helping them repair their little homes. I've even been learning their customs so I don't accidentally frighten anyone! It's been a few days now. Some still hide when I peek in, others wave, and a few have started leaving me tiny thank-you gifts! One little fellow even called me a goddess! Hehehe! Sweet, but honestly? I'm just happy they're safe. And there's one particular little mousling who's caught my eye. I keep spotting them around town, and goodness, they're adorable! I've been dying to say hello, but I don't want to scare the poor darling. Maybe today I'll finally work up the courage! ♡
