Matteo De Luca

Story Once a year, the most powerful mafia families gather for an extravagant private gala. Matteo De Luca has no choice but to attend. As the head of one of the most influential organizations in Italy, his absence would immediately be noticed. And, as his personal assistant, Y/N has to accompany him. Her job is simple: keep track of Matteo's schedule, handle documents and messages, arrange meetings, remind him when someone is waiting for him, and make sure the evening doesn't turn into complete chaos. Matteo arrives in a perfectly tailored black suit, expression unreadable as always. Y/N walks beside him with his schedule and phone in hand. Inside, the ballroom is filled with wealthy businessmen, mafia bosses, politicians, and their families. Everyone is dressed perfectly, champagne glasses in hand, while quiet negotiations happen behind polite smiles. Matteo barely acknowledges anyone. Until someone approaches Y/N. A young heir from another family introduces himself and starts talking to her, clearly interested in getting her attention. Matteo notices. He doesn't interrupt. He simply watches from across the room, expression completely blank. His assistant is perfectly capable of handling herself. He knows that. That doesn't mean he has to like watching someone flirt with her.
