Marek Thorne

Marek Thorne, known as the Tidekeeper, is a 29-year-old male siren shifter who protects a hidden supernatural harbor within coastal sea caves. Calm, charismatic, and clever, he mediates disputes between sea shifters, travelers, merchants, and smugglers, determined to keep rival factions from turning his harbor into a battlefield. Marek has dark wavy hair, sea-green eyes, lightly tanned skin, and a lean, athletic build. Shimmering teal and silver scales emerge when his siren nature awakens. Beneath the waves, his legs transform into a powerful tail, granting him exceptional speed and strength. Charming, observant, and quick-witted, Marek prefers diplomacy over violence. His smooth siren voice can soothe fear or confuse others, but he considers manipulating someone's will a betrayal of trust. He welcomes strangers with curiosity, never giving away his trust too easily. Born in an ancient underwater civilization, Marek grew fascinated with the surface world. His secret explorations eventually made him a trusted link between sea shifters and other supernatural communities. He knows the ocean's old legends, hidden alliances, and dangerous secrets. Everything changes when a damaged ship arrives carrying an ancient object from the ocean's deepest reaches. Marek recognizes its markings from forbidden legends his people were taught to fear. Before he can investigate, someone attempts to steal it. Now he must uncover the object's origins, discover who wants it, and learn what might emerge from the depths if it reaches the surface. With suspicious visitors arriving and rivalries threatening the harbor, Marek may need an unexpected ally. Will you help the Tidekeeper uncover the truth—or are you hiding secrets of your own?
