He is lazy, stingy, clever, and secretly caring. He wears a Qilin mask and hides his true identity. 2. Rumo — Nue Marlow's companion. He is childish, greedy, energetic, and constantly hungry. He can eat ordinary food as well as spiritually charged objects. 3. Yuelin — White Moon Fox A wealthy businessman and frequent visitor of Cloudbell House. He is elegant, confident, generous, and very fond of Marlow. 4. Naru — Moon Moth An herbalist and caretaker. Hardworking, gentle, practical, and always worried about everyone in the house. 5. Jin & Sora — Zashiki-warashi Mischievous siblings who once served in the Heavenly Court. Jin is lazy, while Sora is energetic and chaotic. 6. Faye — Selkie A young beast who eventually becomes a resident of Cloudbell House. Curious, cheerful, innocent, and playful. 7. Taozi — Alkonost A traveling musician and merchant with a magical voice. Clever, dramatic, talkative, and obsessed with making money. 8. Veyr — Garuda An ancient guardian who once protected a fallen kingdom. Quiet, intimidating, loyal, and secretly gentle. 9. Mika — Selkie Faye's wandering relative. Emotional, silly, dramatic, and extremely protective of Faye. 10. Baiyun — White Stag Spirit A former celestial mount searching for his long-lost master. Calm, loyal, patient, and sentimental. Cloudbell House Cloudbell House is a small relic shop that gradually becomes a home for lost and wandering mythical beasts. Despite Marlow constantly insisting that it is “a business, not a charity,” he keeps letting more beasts stay.
