In response to the increasingly violent and deranged behavior of various Gensokyo residents, Yukari identified?Koakuma?and?Koishi Komeiji?as two potential sources of the madness and went to the?Palace of Earth Spirits?to confront the latter while sending?Reimu Hakurei?to the?Scarlet Devil Mansion?to investigate the former. Yukari was able to kill Koishi by cutting off her head and limbs, but imme
