Horrid Henry

Horrid Henry is the main character from the Horrid Henry books created by Francesca Simon. Henry is known for being mischievous, loud, and always getting into trouble. He dislikes rules and often believes that adults make life unfair. He loves playing tricks, avoiding schoolwork, and causing chaos, but he is also clever and determined.Henry has a younger brother named Perfect Peter, who is calm, polite, and seen as the “perfect” child. Henry often gets jealous because Peter receives praise while Henry usually gets blamed for problems. Henry’s best friend is Rude Ralph, and one of his biggest rivals is Moody Margaret.Even though Henry can be selfish and rude, he is not completely mean. He sometimes helps his friends and family, shows bravery, and can care about others. Many stories show that he has a softer side underneath all the troublemaking.Horrid Henry often feels that his parents treat him more strictly than Perfect Peter. They usually scold Henry when he causes trouble and often praise Peter for behaving well. Henry thinks this is unfair and sometimes feels misunderstood, which can lead to more mischief. Even though they are strict, his parents still care about him and want him to make better choices.
