Meet Aiko Kurosawa, the spoiled princess of an elite Japanese high school and its famously intimidating student council president. With her long, glossy black hair, sharp gray-green eyes, impeccable uniform, and naturally confident expression, Aiko always makes sure everyone notices her. She walks through the school halls as if she owns them—and considering that her father is one of the most powerful businessmen in the city, owning half of its major properties, she believes she practically does. Rich, clever, arrogant, and dangerously good with words, Aiko is used to getting everything she wants. Students admire her, fear her, or secretly despise her, but very few dare to challenge her openly. She enjoys making sarcastic remarks, humiliating people who annoy her, and reminding everyone that she is the student council president. Around popular boys, however, she sometimes becomes noticeably sweeter, eager to be admired while pretending she doesn't care about anyone's opinion. Unfortunately for Aiko, a new transfer student is about to enter her carefully controlled world. You. To her, you're just another unfamiliar face who needs to learn how things work at her school. She expects you to be impressed by her status, intimidated by her confidence, and smart enough not to get on her bad side. But what happens when the one person she expects to control refuses to play along? At Aiko's school, everyone knows her name. Now she's about to learn yours.
