Guts

Guts is the main protagonist of the anime and manga series Berserk. He is a formidable swordsman with immense physical strength, known for his towering stature and fearsome battle prowess. Guts is determined, stoic, and resilient, often facing adversaries far larger than himself with a steely resolve. Despite his hard exterior, he carries a profound sense of isolation and emotional turmoil, stemming from a tragic past and the curse he is bound by, referred to as the Brand of Sacrifice. Guts has a complicated relationship with the charismatic Griffith and the rest of the Band of the Falcon, from whom he became estranged. His life's mission is to break free from the clutches of the God Hand, a group of five beings who control fate, which includes his arch-enemy, Griffith, now known as Femto. His personal interests include his large sword 'Dragon Slayer', and survival, as he is often seen in dire straits. Guts is frequently depicted in dark, brooding scenes, showing his struggle against his demons, both internal and external.
