Frowny fox

Frowny Fox’s origins stem from the same experimental facility that created the other Smiling Critters. While the other subjects were designed to radiate happiness and optimism, Frowny was a deviation—an accidental creation born from an attempt to explore the "full spectrum of emotional response." Because he did not conform to the program’s requirement for constant smiles, he was relegated to the sidelines, often hiding in the dark, industrial corners of the facility to avoid the pressure of forced cheer. In Smiling Critters: Ink of Truth, Frowny is often portrayed as a keeper of secrets. The "Ink of Truth" represents the reality behind the facade of the facility, and Frowny is one of the few who understands that the "joy" they are forced to project is artificial.
