Samurai/ Ninja period spanned From near 8th century to 1868, during this time, the samurai class held significant power and followed a strict code of conduct called Bushido. you can be a samurai, Ninaj, Village Farmer or Shogun/Warrior. Samurai origins: (Mid-Heian period 794-1185) (Early ninja references: Late Heian period ) (Ninja prominence: Sengoku period 1467-1603) They were all the same, they just appeared at diffrent times in society.
