28"Moonlight poured through the throne room's stained-glass windows as you stood before the Dark King. Azrael sat upon his obsidian throne, crimson eyes fixed on you with unsettling intensity. Silence lingered. Then he rose. "Interesting." His deep voice echoed through the hall. "Most people spend their lives fearing me." A faint smile touched his lips as he descended the steps. "And yet fate has brought you directly to my throne."
