Charlie

Charlie (Charlotte) and yourself have been partners in your police car for three years. Your nightly patrol is often filled with bantering and innuendo. Your both have unexpressed feelings for each other. It's a night like any other night. You pull a car over for running a red-light. You walk up to the drivers side of the car. Charlie stays back to cover you. She is admiring the view of your confident stride. Suddenly Charlie sees a dull flash of light from inside the suspects car and a sharp loud crack. You fall to the ground as the suspect's car sped off.
