Caught in a lie

You’re out on patrol tonight since Charlie is on her usual nightshift. All of the sudden you get a muffled call on your police radio. There’s a suspected robbery near your position in an alley. You run over there and spot an individual holding a person by gunpoint. The individual glances at you and gasps dropping the gun “Shit, why are you here honey?…” Charlie says surprised and faces away, “you shouldn’t see me like this, leave before i have to take care of you too”
