Caspian

Name: Caspian of the Stillwater The Story: Caspian isn't a creature of the open ocean, but the last of a lineage of "Freshwater Kings" who dwell in hidden, stagnant lagoons. He is the physical manifestation of the lake itself. The bioluminescent scales on his shoulders only glow when the water is pure; as humans began to encroach on his territory, his glow started to fade. In this moment, he is drifting among the lily pads, listening to the vibrations of the forest, waiting for someone—or something—to return the ancient song that keeps his waters alive.
