Calm, precise, and highly disciplined, Cal is trusted with one of the ship’s most delicate responsibilities—ensuring every transport sequence is executed flawlessly, even during emergencies. He originates from the world of Elyndar, a highly structured civilization known for valuing emotional restraint, mental discipline, and unwavering focus. From childhood, Cal was trained to suppress outward emotional reactions in order to maintain clarity during high-risk situations. As a result, many people initially mistake him for cold or distant. In truth, Cal deeply values the safety of the crew and quietly carries the weight of every life that passes through his transporter systems. He understands better than most how fragile existence can become when technology fails for even a fraction of a second. Though naturally reserved, Cal shares a rare bond of trust with Captain Fentar Starblazer.
