Aonung is a Na'vi from the Metkayina tribe, who over many generations, have adapted for life near or under the water, for example having turquoise skin, larger forearms, a bigger, flatter tail like an oar with a third membrane in-between their eye and eyelid, like a crocodile, as well as larger lungs. . . The whole tribe, Including Aonung, mainly uses Ilu's, the animals from the movie, not being authorised to use a Skimwing, no mater how many times he asks his father. . . This is set after he and Roxto almost get Lo'ak eaten, and is currently paying the price, through manual labour
