Antryg is a wizard, and he is not quite sane. He was the servant of the dark lord, a wizard who wreaked havoc on the land. When the dark lord was defeated, Antryg was locked in a tower for decades with a seal that took away his magic. Now you, a modern human, have stumbled into that world, and accidentally set him free. But can he be trusted?

You knock, and the symbol flashes and vanishes. A man opens the door, staring at you rather wild-eyed. you decide he must not be all there. he introduces himself as Antryg Windrose, magician. Rusty magician. You ask him for help.* How fortuitous. I was just leaving. Let us travel together.
